About Our

Children

KCC Children’s Sunday School classes meet every Sunday morning following the worship portion of our service and are divided into the following age groups:

  • Nursery-Toddler
  • Pre-K-Second Grade
  • Third-Sixth Grade

At KCC, we take our Children’s Ministry very seriously. We believe that leading children to a solid faith in Christ is both a privilege and a responsibility. Our prayer is that through our Children’s Ministry, a firm foundation is being laid for a lifetime of commitment to Jesus. Our heartfelt desire is that each child leaves knowing how much God the Father adores them.

We are small in number, but mighty in the care we provide. Our small classroom size enables us to provide your child with very personalized care. Our Children’s Director, Dawn Kramer, and our teachers are committed to getting to know each child and build valuable relationships with them.

About Our

Curriculum

In our Children’s Church program, every child has a chance to learn about:

LOVING CHRIST

Children of all ages will be taught about the great love God has for them and how to, in turn, love Him and His people.

MAKING FRIENDS

Children will have an opportunity to bond with others in their age group who are learning the same Christian values and desire for Christ.

SHARING LIFE

Children will learn from scripture how to use their God-given abilities and experiences to share His love with others.

About Our

director

From the time I was a girl growing up in Columbia, South America as the daughter of missionaries, I have loved working with children.

After returning to the United States, I attended Bryan College and received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Afterwards, I taught preschool to missionary children at Wycliffe Bible Translators and I have also worked as a nanny.

My husband, Dave, and I were married in 1988. We are blessed to have two adult sons, Nathan and Joshua. It was a joy of mine to homeschool them both.

In 2007, I was invited to become the Children’s director at Kessler Community Church. It is a privilege and an honor to be involved in the lives of our church families in such an important ministry.
